Luxeria by James Fuller

I was able to snag James Fuller for a small interview about the book

What inspired you to write an erotica?
Someone told me I couldn’t. That men can’t write erotica.

Luxeria takes place in the Amazons where four friends discover the sisters of O Sangue do Morto Da` Vida with a map from a dying man. Where did you get the idea to write this book?
I have always been fascinated with the myth of the Fountain of Youth (a book will come about that later on) but for this I wanted a sexy, dark, twist.

A lot of people, I've noticed, were a little peeved that this book does not have the traditional happy ending. Was there an intentional purpose to this, or did the book take over and call for something darker?
Well first, people need to get out of the notion that books need happy endings, that’s just stupid. Not everything is happy and butterflies. Luxuria was always meant to end the way it did, but the story isn’t finished and there will be a Luxuria 2 next year. As with all my books generally, the ending is something that will bring out raw emotion, be it good or bad, relief or bitterness, the ending is mine and it meant to bring out those emotions depending on the types of people who read it. A lot of people seen the ending in Luxuria and thought WOW that was strangely poetic and twisted, others hated it because two people didn’t go off hand in hand skipping their marry way down a golden brick road. Either way the book did it’s job, it provoked emotion; and clearly they enjoyed it or they wouldn’t have finished.

The cover art was amazing, who created it?
I have a dear friend, her name is Donna (she doesn’t want to be revealed in full) she does AMAZING work for me and does the majority of my covers.
Luxuria
Horror Erotica
Blurb
A fable, dripping with gold and uttered from the lips of a dying man sets four friends off on the adventure of a lifetime.

The last remnant of an age lost to myth calls from the very cusp of Hell as the dangers rise with the heat of the tropics and they are plunged into the unfathomable depths of the Amazon where they will struggle for survival in an ancient city born of blood, lust and betrayal.

With the whispers of a dead man echoing promises of power, wealth and desire, their path to paradise is laid out in the bones of those who learned too late what is waiting beyond the mist of time.

I gave it five out of five stars.
Luxuria is about four friends taking a vacation into the hot and muggy Amazons. In a small town they stumble upon a dying man, and exactly what they had been looking for to spice up the trip- an adventure. Riches beyond ones wildest dreams lies within the ancient ruins hidden in the jungle. Immediately they find a tour guide willing to travel so far and the chaos begins.

It was full of super hot scenes, mystery, betrayal, and even horror. James Fuller was able to paint such a vivid picture with his story, making you feel as though you were teleported into the thick jungles and fighting along side his cast of characters. I loved the dialog, it was spot on; and he obvious did his research about the scene placements. I found it impossible to guess what would happen next and was often sitting eagerly on the edge of my seat, awaiting the next shocking twist. The way he ended the book was perfect. This could easily be a stand along, but it could also turn into a series. Personally, I hope it's a series. I would love to know who the next victims are, and if a hero is waiting in the shadows somewhere.

Incredibly well written, decently priced, and sure to make you blush. I REALLY recommend this book to anyone looking for something new in the erotica genre! It is $2.99, which normally I won't pay that much for a novella, but I happily make an exception for this.
