CRAZAY BITCHES: Memoirs of a Modern Man by Cameron Stryker

crazy bitches
I don't know what to classify this as...
Blurb:
A ‘Crazay Bitch’ is not exclusive to just one gender. ANYONE can be, and is, a ‘Crazay Bitch.’ Both men and women are therefore ‘Crazay Bitches.’

My definition and explanation of the ‘Crazay Bitch’ phrase is used to describe someone who has ever made a relational decision that made no damn sense, regardless of whether that choice was a one-time occurrence or a chronic, recurring happening. Actions made or based on irrational anger, jealousy, pain, and even extreme sexual pleasure have consequences. Resultantly, as you will read throughout this book, these unreasonable behaviors and choices foster unfortunate, dramatic, and foolish outcomes.
Crazay Bitches: Memoirs of a Modern Man is simply about one man’s journey, Cameron Stryker, to meet Ms. Right. Along this hopeful passage to finding the right relationship, he’s dated and opened himself up to various types of women, many of whom he thought could be ‘The One.’ Yet somehow and somewhere in the relationships, a ‘Crazay Bitch’ switch was flipped and the relationships took a horrible turn. This book captures the essence of those stories and provides teachable moments anyone in a relationship can learn from.
We should learn from our mistakes as well as the mistakes of others. Situations tend to repeat themselves if we don’t recognize life’s teachable moments the first time.
Crazay Bitches: Memoirs of a Modern Man is based on true stories. The book and its characters and entities are fictional representations of actual occurrences. To protect anonymity and confidentiality, names of all characters have been changed and environments may have been modified. Any likeness to any particular individual, either living or dead, circumstance, or location is strictly coincidental.

I gave it one out of five stars.
I read Crazay Bitches: Memoirs of a Modern Man by Cameron Stryker in about four days. I'll start with saying the cover photo was lovely; it's very eye-catching.
This book is approximately 251 pages but sadly, I couldn't get into it. The first 6% of the book is about the author, five-star reviews about the book, and about the book itself. I must admit, I didn't read all of it.
You are viewing this story through Cameron Stryker's eyes, going through his experience of dating 6 crazy woman. While the idea behind this book is fascinating (who hasn't been in a bad relationship?) the execution of it was lacking. I thought the story was poorly written, and I had issues trying to connect with the main character.
There were a few sex scenes that were too detailed to be classified as a romance, yet not detailed enough to be classified as an erotica. The book was more about the emotional turmoil Stryker felt and the dramatic events of the relationships, rather than the sex involved.
Each Chapter was dedicated to a woman he dated. At the end of Chapter 3 I began wondering where everything was going. What was the point? Did he learn anything? The author never clearly said, so I suppose the answer lies with each independent reader and how they perceive it.
The listed Kindle price is $9.99. I found this book when it was free. To each their own, but I would never pay that much for this book. I don't know who I would recommend this to, as I thought it was repetitive and drawn out. But everyone has something that interests them, so maybe it'll be your thing.
